You are looking for a fresh breakfast inspiration for the muki snack pot? Try this incredibly delicious granola from the pan. You can simply make it yourself, which offers clear advantages over bought cereals:

  • You know exactly what's in it. So no one will sneak in an extra portion of sugar or other uninvited guests.
  • The ingredients can be varied according to taste and availability. You don't like almonds in your granola? Then just use hazelnuts. 
  • If you make a little more right away, you can put the rest in your supply and always have a healthy and energetic breakfast ready.

In the morning, in the afternoon, actually always: granola out of your muki snack pot

In the morning you put the cereals in one compartment and fruit, milk or yoghurt in the other compartment of the muki Snackpot. Do not forget the spoon. When you get hungry, mix both fresh on the go and save the crispiness. Long live the crunch!

By the way, granola doesn't only taste good when you get up. It is also a great substitute for chocolate or fruit gum. The crunchy muesli tastes rich in the mouth and is a bit sweet. In contrast to other sweets, however, it has a slightly satiating effect. This means that after snacking you will have a longer rest from further cravings. Okay, off to the kitchen:

You will need:

  • 250 g of crisp rolled oats 
  • 30 g sunflower seeds 
  • 100 g nuts of your choice, chopped 
  • 50 g coconut chips 
  • 150 g dried dates, figs or apricots 
  • 2 tsp cinnamon 
  • 40 g honey 
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oil

It's that simple:

  1. Put the oats, seeds and nuts in a pan. Heat them up for about 5 minutes without fat on a higher heat level.
  2. Reduce the heat and stir in the oil with the honey, add the cinnamon.
  3. Now add the coconut chips and dried fruit in small pieces. 
  4. Roast everything for about 3-5 minutes until the granola looks golden brown and smells good. 
  5. Let the mixture cool down and then pour it into a tightly closed storage container. The muesli will keep dry for several weeks.

Tip: The homemade crunchy muesli tastes great with applesauce, fresh fruit, yoghurt or (vegetable) milk.
